May 15, 2020 Teenagers and Relationships

Hello dear reader. Thank you for always stopping by to read.

So even though I am a mum now, I was once a teenager and I remember that time of life as one filled with more questions than answers, and the worst thing is that sometimes some of us lacked someone credible and trustworthy to ask these questions. Someone that can answer our questions without judging us and also without looking at us “somehow” after we ask them. Sometimes we may be scared to ask our parents these questions because we do not want to trouble them, or we may be unsure of the kind of answer they will give, or we don’t want to give them any extra reason to worry over us.

Nevertheless our questions and concerns still exist and the more we do not receive answers to them, we may make certain mistakes in our lives with far reaching consequences for us. Sin is not a joke and a hard task master. We know we are Christians and we are supposed to be different and live different, but sometimes with all the pressures we face we wonder how on earth we are supposed to cope. Those worries can now be laid to rest.

There is a golden opportunity that you can avail yourself of, to listen to a seasoned couple who have been married for 20 years talk about teenagers, their sexuality and what to do concerning relationships. What kind of friend would I be if I did not share this with you? LOL! It will be taking place on ZOOM on Sunday 17th May 2020 by 2pm and will be hosted by the Teens Church Foursquare Gospel Church VGC Lagos. The details of the program  (Meeting ID) can be seen in the flier below and is for people between the ages of 13 and 18 years of age.

Also another benefit is that you can send in any questions you have anonymously by clicking here on going to this link https://bit.ly/2zEGQeo. It will take you less than a minute to ask your questions and you can be rest assured that no one will know who asked what. That is how anonymous works!

More importantly, as a Christian teenager or one who really is seeking for the truth, I would love for you come for the program with an open mind to listen to the truth. I know the facilitators personally and I can say boldly that they will not deceive you or tell you lies to make you feel happy or comfortable. Digest the truth you will be told, no matter how uncomfortable it may seem. It is better to take some time digesting the hard and bitter truth, than to let blatant  lies slide down the slippery slope into our hearts and shape our lives. The choice is yours.

I will be praying for all of you that will attend this program, and I hope you will be able to share this information with as many friends as you can. Everyone is welcome to the Truth that sets free.

Spread the word and feel free to drop a line in the comment section after the program about how it helped you.
